Celebrating Creativity and Community

Gosport is stepping onto the global stage with its first-ever TEDx event, championing the town’s creativity and challenging outdated stereotypes. The independently organised conference will showcase 14 speakers, 12 of whom are local, sharing stories of resilience, innovation and transformation.

A Platform for Untold Stories

Event organiser Annelies James said:

“Gosport has so much talent that just needs to be seen. People here have creativity, vision and powerful ideas worth sharing.”

Speakers will explore deeply human themes, from grief turned into community action to breaking down stigma around poverty and homelessness. Even unexpected topics, such as Gosport’s rise in eSports, will take the stage.

The event is volunteer-led and supported by local sponsors, including small businesses helping to make the talks accessible to the wider community. Expert speaking coaches and stylists are preparing presenters for a polished and impactful stage presence, while local creatives have captured every detail of the journey.

With live music, lunch, and an atmosphere of curiosity, TEDxGosport aims to inspire and unite the community. Tickets are priced at £45, offering access to all talks, refreshments, and an unforgettable experience.
