A Landmark Moment for Local Storytelling

Hampshire is preparing to host its first ever TEDx event, with TEDxGosport set to bring the world-renowned platform for ideas worth spreading to the local stage. Scheduled for 16th October 2025 at Quay West Studio, the event promises an evening filled with fresh perspectives and powerful storytelling.

A Platform for Local Voices

The independently organised event follows the global TED format, giving speakers just 18 minutes to present an impactful idea, story or challenge to the audience. From community change-makers to creative thinkers, TEDxGosport aims to highlight the talent and innovation found within the region.

Event organiser Annelies James shared:

“It’s incredibly exciting to be able to bring TEDx to Gosport. Our goal is to create a platform where people can connect, share their experiences and spark new ways of thinking.”

By hosting this event, Gosport joins a worldwide network of cities that have embraced the TEDx movement, offering local residents a chance to experience the magic of TED-style talks in their own community.
